We are looking for a qualified Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our fun, fast-paced team of creative professionals for a one-year contract with potential to convert to a full-time position.  If you have a track record of successful mechanical designs in the Biomedical Device field and 7+ years of experience, we would like to meet you.   

Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, has exceptional oral and written communication skills and can develop User-centric, clean, efficient designs with minimal supervision. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, has exceptional oral and written communication skills and can develop, compile, and maintain regulatory documentation with minimal supervision. Experience in the medical device field is required. You should be familiar with CE marking, FDA processes, and common European standards.  You should demonstrate a love of learning.

Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, has exceptional oral and written communication skills and can oversee user-centric, clean, efficient products with minimal supervision. Experience in the medical device field is required. You should be able to develop and maintain a schedule and assist in estimating a project. You should be familiar with collecting and analyzing Voice of Customer data.  You should be familiar with Agile development processes.  You should be a “people person” with great customer service skills and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple disciplines. 

Ultimately, you should be able to plan, oversee, and lead projects from blank page to manufacturing transition.  This role requires close interaction with a range of external and internal players to ensure deliverables fall within scope, timeline, and budget.  Most often, you will be managing several projects simultaneously.  You will represent the client’s needs throughout a project.
